Drift Lee is a Melbourne based portrait photographer.

Whilst she possesses technical training, she prides herself on being far more visceral and creative in her approach and process. 

 

Her works tend to exude a unique and almost theatrical flare, with subtle whimsical and or ethereal undertones.

"I never really felt like I was a particular type of photographer. I just wanted  to create beautiful images. I guess the trick is to see the beauty in everything and in everyone. I suppose it all stems from what I personally find to be aesthetically pleasing and or beautiful;  glamour, darkness, vulnerability, beauty, truth, drama, shape, contrast etc. I guess my work reflects those things in one way or another.  "
